a)    Vision is the most important faculty when driving a vehicle.
       Poor cleaning performance in bad weather impairs this faculty.

b)   The wind lift factor further reduces the pressure on the blade at highway speeds,
       when driving against the wind, or when both conditions occurs.

c)    Because of design limitations:

• The original spring in the wiper arm does not have enough leverage to exert the required pressure on the blade.



• The steel of the original spring within the arm is stressed to its limit and cannot generate the required pressure.

Most drivers are aware of aerodynamic wiper lift. Necessarily, if the pressure on the blade
were greater, wiper lift would not occur.

An aerodynamic blade minimally compensates the effects of wind lift but does not correct
the lack of pressure on the wiper.
